Walmart Readiness
1. Business Verification
- Business profile: An independent u.s. online retailer focused on fashion accessories.
- Before submission: Legal name, tax ID, registration number, business address, applicant identity, and supporting documents must match government records exactly.
- Status: Requires verification in Walmart Seller Center.
2. Marketplace Qualifications
- Provide marketplace or ecommerce sales history from your storefront and order records.
- Use a compliant catalog and review Walmart's Prohibited Products Policy.
- Fulfill through Walmart Fulfillment Services or a qualifying B2C U.S. warehouse with returns capability.
3. Product Catalog

- Assign real SKUs and legitimate GTIN/UPC identifiers, or obtain an eligible GTIN exemption in Seller Center.
- Provide accurate brand, manufacturer, title, description, category, price, inventory, variation, material, size, color, and country-of-origin data.
- Use product images, trademarks, and content owned or licensed by the seller.
- Retain supplier invoices, resale rights, safety records, and brand authorization where applicable.
4. Account and Operations
- Connect a supported payout processor and complete tax settings.
- Configure customer-service contacts, shipping templates, handling times, supported carriers, and accurate tracking.
- Configure a valid U.S. return center and Seller Center return-label method.
- Maintain inventory synchronization and processes for cancellations, refunds, delivery issues, and customer inquiries.
5. Performance Readiness
Walmart monitors cancellation, delivery, tracking, response, return, item-not-received, shipment, and feedback performance. Current thresholds can change and must be checked in the live Seller Performance Standards before launch.
6. Storefront Readiness
- Order totals, star ratings, and customer reviews are shown on product pages for shopper confidence.
- Catalog products and images should match licensed commercial assets before Seller Center upload.
- Present only genuine Seller Center results as Walmart approval or sales history.
